The Battle of Siril

In the battle of Siril, the Sirilan home guard and the PCs move to engage a large pirate force working in the asteroid belt of the star system.

Sirilan Plan: The Sirilan plan is to engage the pirates with the thirty R-10s while the only (albeit heavily modified) capital ship, the dreadnaught Kamilz loads up it's marine contingent before entering the battle.

Scene 1: As the pirates move off, picking up a distress signal nearby, the Home Guard fly in, catching the pirates by surprise and destroying several ships in the first few minutes.

Encounter 1: As the players' ship(s) move in, an L-1 engages them for two to three rounds before swooping away.

Scene 2: As the battle levels out, with more pirate ships pouring out of the base, a corvette jumps into the middle of the fight, it's lasers destroying several Sirilan R-10s.

Encounter 2: One of the R-10s contacts the players, stating that he has two enemy starfighters behind him. He will head towards the corvette before pulling up. If the PCs hit the pirates right, they can make them ram the corvette, which then pulls out.

Scene 3: As the R-10s start to lose, the Kamilz arrives, shooting down several pirate vessels.

Encounter 3(if fail #2): The dreadnaught moves to engage the corvette, requesting all fighters to keep the pirates of it's back. The players have to fight to the end with several R-10s.

Encounter 4(if succeed #2): The dreadnaught takes down several pirate ships, taking heavy fire from turbo-laser batteries on the base. The fighters are requested to destroy them.

Scene 4: The final engagement.
Encounter 5 (if succeed #3 or fail #4): The corvette flees before being destroyed by the dreadnaught, which launches shuttles of marines and requests fighters to protect them before blowing up spectacularly from turbolaser fire.
Encounter 6 (if succeed #4): Free from fire, the dreadnaught launches shuttles of marines, pounding the base with it's guns while the remaining Sirilan forces destroy any pirate ships attempting to escape.
