The Brodie Scimitar Mark II is a development on the older Scimitar.
The Mark II is essentially the same as the original, but with a few minor changes and an increase of about 10,oo cr.
The changes made is the replcement of the "AID" Melter Pulse Cannon with an actual turret containing two of them, with their own seperate power supply, not drawing from the ship until it is depleted. The other change is a storage rack for the missiles, holding up to six of different types.
Because of the changes, the Mark II is sought out fairly often, and owners of the original can pay 40,000 cr to upgrade the Mark I

The Brodie Scimitar fighter/scoutship
The Brodie Scimitar
The Brodie Scimitar was developed and built a year before CEO Marcus Brodie died. The Scimitar was originally designed to replace the Centaurion/Wolf Two-Man Scoutship. After a year of 'test flights', Fleet decided to keep the Two-Man Scoutship. Brodie was going to scrap the ship until they realized that it was popular amongst mercs. It is Armed with two rack-mounted Blasters, one rack-mounted missile launcher and an AID 'Melter' Pulse Cannon bolted on outside the ship, requiring the second Gunner to put on a ENVI-Suit and hop outside.
